Random Vocabulary


Volunteer: Verb

to offer to do something that you do not have to do, often without having been asked to do it and/or without expecting payment
Example:
During emergency, many people volunteered to work for our organization.

Applaud: verb

To show approval or admiration to someone's action (may be by clapping)
Example:
Every one applauds at his action of proposing that girl.

Scarlet:
Bright Red
Example:
His face turned scarlet with shame.

Insurmountable:

To great(especially a problem) to be dealt.
Example:
These people are under an insurmountable amount of debt.

Chapel:

A place for Christian worship (which is mainly a private room instead of church)
Example:
He visited chappel before arriving here.

Coward:

A person who is not willing to face dangers and is not brave enough.
Example:
When he looked back to the passed mommets, He realized that he was nothing but a coward.
